About components

NGis is toolkit for developers of applications. It offers an easy and economic way of introducting cartographical functionality to the new or existing application. NGis is a component which may be quickly integrated in a client part of the application written on object-oriented language Delphi. The developer thus, has an opportunity to work in that field which is more familiar, and users , in their turn ,will get access to cartographical functions in their habitual application. Management of layers. There are functions allowing to operate with layers of geographical information, to appoint ways of displaying objects and formation of labels, to change scale of a map, to operate with visibility of a layer, to define the order of layer and scale effect for layers of cartographical objects and labels.

Components NGis for work with maps completely written on pascal for programming Delphi allowing to work with format maps of company MapInfo . Components are written with use of objective-oriented programming OOP and have convenient objective architecture.

NGis is a cartographical component which easily allows to add powerful cartographical functions in your applications. Using maps, you may display the information, easily understandable to everyone. Maps are more informative than diagrams, their interpretation is more evident and fast in comparison with tables.
