In September 2003, there was organized a group of enthusiasts software developers in the field of cartography on the basis of Mathematics faculty of Kazakh National State University after Al- Farabi.
In May 2005, "KazUniCom" company was opened on the basis of this group which continues to work with cartography and has wide experience in this area.
